Monarch Lawn & Landscape was founded by Charley Carvill in 2003, and it's built on 28 years of horticulture. Part of that grounding came at Buckinghamshire Golf Club, where Charley worked on the greens ahead of a PGA tournament — the kind of setting where turf and planting have to be flawless and hard-wearing in equal measure. That standard is what he brought to Monarch, and what still runs through every garden we build.

What sets Monarch apart is how a project begins. Before any construction, we build your garden as a 3D SketchUp model you can walk through on screen — so you approve the real, finished scheme rather than guessing from a flat plan. It means the levels, the materials, the structures and the planting are all agreed before a spade goes in, and the expensive changes-of-mind happen on the model, not on site.

Then one in-house team carries the whole build: garden design and landscaping, patios and paving, Jacksons-approved fencing, decking, ponds and water features, and wildflower meadows. Where a job needs a certified specialist — carpentry, an electrical connection for lighting or a pump, or irrigation — we bring in our own trusted people and coordinate them within the project, so you always deal with one team.

The reviews tell the same story from the client's side. Bryan Glick came back to us for two projects fifteen years apart. John Tweed had us for two major jobs and had “no hesitation in recommending” us. Emma Brosnan's project came in “on time and within budget” with a result that “will last for many years.” Sam Tinkler wanted a front area that was child-friendly and easy to maintain, and Charley “hit the brief.”
